What Will You Find There?
In the region's forests, you may find, among others:
porcini mushrooms,
bay boletes,
chanterelles,
birch boletes,
slippery jacks,
parasol mushrooms.
Porcini mushrooms grow in coniferous, deciduous, and mixed forests. Chanterelles often grow near pine, oak, and beech trees, birch boletes near birches and aspens, while slippery jacks particularly favor areas around pine and larch trees.
Remember, however, that the presence of mushrooms depends on the weather, the season, and the specific part of the forest—no species can be guaranteed.
